Welcome
“To travel, to experience and learn; that is to live" Tenzing Norgay
IntrepidPhotos.com is for anyone seeking to look outside the narrow confines of their day to day life, see beyond the monotony, and make a real effort to get out there and love their life. Anyone with an interest in humanity, mountaineering, trekking, eastern religions, wildlife or travel will find something to broaden their horizons on the site. Hopefully it will inspire a few to travel and see the world for themselves, or maybe just to pick up their camera and go for a walk, or perhaps simply to be more understanding of the world in which they live. IntrepidPhotos.com turned 10 in 2008 and it has been a long haul; there are now almost 5000 photos up on the site. I have left some early photos up from the late 90's which perhaps would not make the grade now but are significant for personal reasons. I can only hope that you have enjoyed looking at the site over the last decade as much as I have putting it together. If this is true it will have served its purpose. There is now an active forum on the site. So if you have any questions about the photos or places on the site or simply are looking for somewhere to discuss common interests in adventure or photography feel free to contribute by clicking on the forum link. Cheers. Robert Downie. |
