IntrepidPhotos.com is a small venture developed by Robert Downie as a cross between his personal and professional interests.  Photos on the site are available for purchase below and any further inquiries should be directed to info @ intrepidphotos.com.  The sale of photos however is not the sole motivation behind the site.  IntrepidPhotos.com is for anyone who can look outside the narrow confines of their day to day life, see beyond the monotony, and make a real effort to get out there and love their life.  Photos on the site have not been watermarked, as it is believed that this would lessen the viewing pleasure of the average visitor who has no intention on purchasing photos. Intrepid Photos turns 10 in 2007 and it has been a long haul.   I have left a lot of early photos up which perhaps would not make the grade now but are significant for historical purposes .  I can only hope that you have enjoyed looking at the site over the last ten years as much as I have putting it togeather.   If this is true it will have served its purpose.

IntrepidPhotos.com is not a large operation and prices take into account the time and effort spent withdrawing the slides from our archive and having them professionally enlarged and shipped.  The following prices are quoted in US dollars and include posting and handling across the globe where applicable.  Filenames for each photo can be found by right clicking on the photo you want enlarged, then clicking on properties.  Secure credit card payments can be made by clicking on the "Add to Cart" icon beside each product.  Payments are made through PayPal Global Services, which is operated by eBay and utilizes the latest 128 Bit SSL Secured encryption.   

All prints are exhibition quality and produced on Fuji archive quality paper.  Prints are for personal use only and can not be replicated or published commercially.  Prints larger than 18x24 are available on request.  "Standard image for web use" refers to the use of the images taken from IntrepidPhotos.com in their current form for commercial use on a single website.  If increased resolutions are required additional fees apply.  Discounts on standard images my be given if for personal web use.  Images for use in physical publications of a commercial nature are available at all resolutions, with prices quoted on application.
